I was born in İzmir in 1984. I graduated from Gazi University, Department of Electrical Education, in 2007 as an Electrical Teacher. After working for a while in software companies, I have been teaching electricity at various vocational high schools since 2010. In 2019, I entered the Department of Sculpture at Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts, from which I graduated in 2023, and I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in the same department.

Since my high school years, my profession in electricity has unexpectedly converged with my long-standing desire to engage in art. This encounter has opened an alternative path for imagining the subjects I work on. The concept of energy—which constitutes the foundation of life—transforms into an interdisciplinary mode of thought in my practice, as it becomes both a controllable source and a metaphor that alters visible and invisible states around me.

In recent years, coding, electronics, found objects from daily life, and elements from nature have become central components of my work. My subjects often revolve around micro-situations, cycles, and coincidences that distinguish movement from stillness in nature and everyday life. By blending fundamental principles of art with contemporary techniques, I aim to create a language that invites the viewer not only to observe but also to experience.
