Colony focuses not only on how maps serve for orientation, but also on how they divide us through socio-cultural and political boundaries. By reconstructing the street textures of Ankara and İzmir with copper wires and transferring them onto the wall, the work blends the shadows of the two cities under light. In doing so, memories accumulated in different places merge into a single spatial experience.
